About This Place
(and the person behind it)
Who’s Behind?
I’m Ashzaeen. I code things, design things, write things, and most days I forget to eat lunch while doing all three.
I’ve built robots with middle schoolers, created pitch decks for imaginary startups, and coded fun games. This site is where all of that — the fun, the failures, and the late-night “what ifs” — comes together.
Why This Exists?
I wanted to document a season of my life — and actually test out how much I really know about WordPress.
This site began as a challenge to see what I could make from scratch and in the process, also collect stories, thoughts, pictures and projects. If you’re here to test buttons or read blog posts, you’re equally welcome!

My 6-D Web Building Process
01.
Discover
Before I build anything, I wander.
I scroll through photos, sit with ideas, listen to the music behind someone’s words. This is where I learn what the website wants to be — not just what it needs to show.
02.
Define
Then I name things. Shapes. Colors. Feelings. I turn vague ideas into something tangible — a moodboard, a messy Notion page, or just a list of “vibes and don’ts.” Think of it as giving fog a form — before the sun rises.
03.
Design
Here’s where I play.
Fonts meet feelings. Buttons ask questions. Layouts begin to speak. I sketch and tweak until the site feels like a space you’d want to linger in, not just pass through.
04.
Develop
Now I make it real.I bring the designs to life with code — making sure every scroll, click, and hover responds like it’s part of the story.
05.
Deploy
I test everything, obsess over margins, and hold my breath before I hit “publish.”
This is where the site leaves my hands — and finds its place online.
06.
Deliver
But I don’t just hand over a site.
I make sure you know how to use it, update it, and keep it alive. Because a good site isn’t a statue. It grows with you.
Why I Might Be Worth Your Time
If you’re here to decide whether I can build cool things and work well with your team — here’s what I hope you’ll see.
Every page I build has intention behind it. I don’t just place elements — I try to listen to them. Typography, whitespace, structure — all tuned for clarity, emotion, and usability. I want visitors to feel something, not just scroll through something.
This site was made from the ground up using WordPress (Astra theme + custom CSS). I didn’t just follow tutorials — I debugged, redesigned, iterated, and learned on the fly. I treat every project like a living thing, not just a checklist.
Whether it’s a solo passion project or part of a team, I prioritize clarity, clean handoff, and empathy. I’ve worked in teams where I had to teach, and teams where I had to learn fast — I enjoy both.
Pixel spacing? Font rhythm? Button hover behavior? Yes, yes, and yes. I can be meticulous — not to be a perfectionist, but because I genuinely care how a user feels while interacting with what I build.
This entire site is proof of that. I didn’t know half of what I needed when I started. But I figured it out, piece by piece — because I love building things that work, that last, and that feel like they belong.
This site is just a snapshot. Behind it are Notion pages full of scrapped ideas, debug logs, journaled lessons, and design sketches. I bring that same quiet hustle and curiosity to every opportunity I get.
Some Numbers
Yes, they’re real. Emotionally, at least.
